The Role Of Anthropologists On The Development Of Modern...
How important are anthropologists to society? Some debate that they play a key role in the development of modern society. From my perspective, anthropologists play a very important role in modern society as they help us to understand different systems and social norms. I would say that they are one of the key factors in the smooth flowing and development of our society. The focus of this paper therefore would seek to discuss the role of anthropologists in the development of modern society. It will identify areas of development in which anthropologists could help institutions better understand the cultures of people whose developmental needs they wish to address. In addressing this topic, I will first give a general definition of cultural anthropology followed by a discussion of the aspects of anthropologistsââ¬â¢ work. I will then follow up their aspects of work with the tools and methods they use to undertake aspects of their work. I am the paragon of test, tribulation, and trial by fire. Yet, I have not been brokenâ⬠¦ A conversation after learning about the condemning words of a 1st grade teacher. ââ¬Å"I do not understand your concern. Most children DO NOT start learning how to read until third grade. And heââ¬â¢s not even a gifted student,â⬠said the principal to my mother. The principalââ¬â¢s remarks left my mother despondent. I vividly remember sitting in a class of 1st graders encamped around the teacher as she read; eager to learn. I stood up next to her and attempted to follow along when she gave me a gelid stare and said ââ¬Å"Sit down, you couldnââ¬â¢t read if you tried!â⬠In an instant, I was deemed stupid.
